OUR SERVICES

RESIDENTIAL (RHS)

Thryve services strives to provide a premier housing experience to the consumers we serve.  Our homes are new, clean and staffed 24/7 ensuring our consumers are safe and cared for.  Thryve staff are extensively trained and supervised by our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to maintain fidelity to our consumers Person Centered Support Plan (PCSP).  Our staff are invested in and promote growth to the youth and adults we are entrusted to serve.  Our focus in the home is to foster an environment that promotes education through safety and repetition.  We provide supports related to activities of daily living (ADL’s), including nutrition, exercise, hygiene, personal goal achievement, financial and medication management.

We don’t stop at immaculate homes, our community activities are also peerless.  Visit our community blog to see what we’ve been up to! Weekly community activities ensure a rich experience and give our consumers and staff opportunities to establish lasting relationships. After all, the best road in life is memory lane!

CLINICAL SERVICES (BC1, BC2, BC3)

Our clinical team uses empirically-based research to conduct quantitive date assessments.  Our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops Behavior Support Plans (BSP’s) that assist our staff in empowering our consumers to self-regulate problematic or maladaptive behaviors.  Using Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), we implement support strategies which motivate our consumers to acquire life skills that increase independence and engage in socially acceptable behaviors.  Our clinical team is accredited by QBS, Inc., to provide Safety-Care supports.  We understand that intellectual disabilities are complex in nature and we are committed to implement best practices.

An intellectual disability is characterized by an IQ below 70 (the median IQ is 100), and significant difficulty with daily living such as self-care, safety, communication, and socialization.  People with an intellectual disability may process information more slowly than others, have difficulty communicating, emotional regulation, managing daily living skills, and also have difficulty with abstract concepts such as money and time.

Thryve Services has extensive experience in working with the following disabilities.

– Autism Spectrum Disorder

– Down Syndrome Disorder

– Prader-Willi Syndrome

– Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder

– Acquired Brain Injury

– Anxiety Disorders

HOST HOME (HHS)

Our consumers have individual needs and for those who prefer a familial setting, our Host Home placements are ideal.  These matches often become family, as special bonds are created through caring for our consumers.  Thryve’s host homes are an integral part of our mission to serve those in our community.

SUPPORTED EMPLOYMENT (DSG, DSI, SEI)

Consumer’s thrive when they engage in meaningful tasks and perform jobs that are inline with their interests.  Working provides personal fulfillment and promotes community involvement.  Skill acquisition and maintenance keeps the mind sharp and builds self-confidence.  We encourage our consumers to maintain employment, as we work along side The Department of Workforce Services.  We identify personal interests, career goals, provide skills training, supervision and transportation.

NURSING (PM1, PM2)

Consumer health is a top priority at Thryve.  We work with licensed Pharmacists, Pediatricians and Clinical Psychologists who oversee client mental health.  Our nurse provides monthly medication management, educates consumers of potential side effects and is on-call if a medical need should arise.  Exercise and a healthy diet are highly encouraged throughout our Thryve family.  Supporting an active lifestyle promotes good health, longevity and an overall richer quality of life.
